Welcome to Year 1!
This term our topic is – Castles, knights, dragon and princesses: Why were castles built and who lived in them?
The Year 1 teachers are Mrs Russell (Key Stage One Leader of Learning), Miss Cross and Mrs Gilkes.
In Year 1, the children transition from Early Years to Key Stage One. Here they explore and learn about a range of topics through carefully planned activities, which enable them to become independent learners.
